Hi! I'm Kondwani Phiri, a 20 year old American mechanical engineering student, photographer, and writer-director studying at the University of Southern California ('2026).

I was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. My upbringing in and outside of Washington, DC as the son of Zambian immigrants, and my experiences in Los Angeles and New York City are crucial to my work as an artist and engineer.

While I'm not a professional just yet, my primary interests include innovative product design, creative storytelling, and human-centered engineering. I'm interested in work and projects that blend technical design with user experience, in industries spanning entertainment, sports tech, medical applications, and consumer hardware.

This website is meant to be a launch pad for my ideas and showcase my progress thus far. (And provide credentials for hiring managers. Lol.)
